The lawyer’s name is Joelle Rich and, according to several media outlets, both Depp and Rich have been in a relationship for months.

Joelle Rich represented Johnny Depp in a defamation lawsuit against the newspaper The Sun, within the United Kingdom.

Rich is based in London and is still married to her ex-partner. However, they have been separated for some time.

During the defamation trial in the United States against Amber Heard, rumours swirled about the alleged affair between Johnny Depp and his lawyer, Camille Vasquez.

However, they were only expressions of affection that did not go beyond friendship, as both said.

“I care a lot about my clients, and obviously we’ve become very close,” Camille Vasquez told ‘People’ in June. “But when I say we, I mean the whole team, and of course that includes Johnny.”

For Vasquez, having a romantic relationship with a client is “unprofessional”.

“It’s also an unethical accusation to make. It’s sexist,” Vasquez added to the romance rumours.

Rich was not part of the legal team for Depp‘s latest trial. However, she was present in court to show support. Such was the case, that there are photographs of Rich embracing Vasquez herself.

“There was no professional obligation for her to be there,” a source also told ‘Page Six’ and also confirmed that the two were “discreetly” seeing each other in hotels at the beginning of their romance.
